Our Fees

At Focused Performance Consulting, we believe in providing an affordable service for clients with competitive fees. The current Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended fee is $330 per hour. A full APS fee schedule can be found here.

Individual Psychology Consultations - $250

Sport & Exercise Psychology Consultations (AFLPA, ACA and other sports) - $250

Parent sessions - 60 minutes $250, 30 Minutes $150

Quick chats (30 Minutes) - $150

Supervision - $250

Sessions are available in person or online at the client's discretion

Cognitive assessments and fees are available upon request.

Rebates

Private health fund rebates: It is your responsibility to check your coverage and eligibility with your provider. We are unable to confirm coverage amounts without a physical card to process a quote; alternatively, please contact your fund directly.

Medicare Rebates

If you are eligible, we are happy to assist in processing claims. Please note we do not hold responsibility for eligibility or processing. Medicare does not currently provide rebates for couples therapy, cognitive assessments, parenting sessions when the child is not present, and other specific situations.

Reports

If you require a report, this will involve an additional cost and should be discussed with your psychologist.

Cancellation Policy

Because we reserve the full hour for your appointment, we require 24 hours' notice for cancellations. This allows us to offer the time to others on our waiting list.

A full fee will be charged for cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice
The full fee will be charged for missed appointments with less than two hours' notice (non-attendance)

We understand that sudden illness or emergencies happen. If this occurs, please contact our office as soon as possible. You may leave a message with our answering service after hours.

The APS recommended cancellation fees are:

0-24 hours’ notice: Full fee
24-48 hours’ notice: 50% of fee
48 hours - 7 days’ notice: 25% of fee
